Casa Dragones is a joven style tequila from San Miguel de Allende that combines an extra-añejo aged for five years in new charred American white oak barrels with un-aged tequila. The mix is then filtered through a bed of charcoal to remove its color. The 80-proof clear liquid is put in an individually numbered crystal bottle decorated by hand with representations of pepitas (pumpkin seeds) and an agave plant, then sealed. The end result is extraordinarily smooth, with a very sweet, fruity, almost wine-like nose but a bold, pure peppery flavor that finishes cleanly. -

Today its incomparable flavor has become a veritable institution in the world of connoisseurs. Unlike industrial rum made from the fermentation of molasses, a by-product of the production of cane sugar, Rhum Barbancourt is an agricultural rum, rum made from fermented sugar cane juice. Rhum Barbancourt is aged in Limousin oak barrels in the Domaine's chais, and it is in these oak barrels that Rhum Barbancourt expresses its unique flavor and bouquet; a subtle blending of Haiti's sun and soil. -
