The very pinnacle of Irish whiskey, Bushmills Single Malt Whiskey 21 year old is aged for a minimum of 19 years in former Oloroso Sherry and bourbon-seasoned casks, then married and transferred into Madeira casks for a further 2 years of aging and maturation. Awarded ‘Best Irish Single Malt 2013’ and a rare 96 points from Whisky Advocate, it has huge depth that interweaves dried fruit flavors with spicy, aromatic maltiness, subtle nutty raisin notes, and a rich finish that seemingly never ends.

In the 1920s the Marchese Mario Incisa della Rocchetta dreamt of creating a ‘thoroughbred’ wine and for him, as for all the aristocracy of the time, the ideal was Bordeaux. A wine made mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon was a fundamental change to the Tuscan and Piedmont tradition of Sangiovese and Nebbiolo, respectively. The innovative decision to plant this variety at Tenuta San Guido was partly due to the similarity Mario Incisa had noted between Tuscan terrain and that of Graves in Bordeaux.

Casa Dragones is a joven style tequila from San Miguel de Allende that combines an extra-añejo aged for five years in new charred American white oak barrels with un-aged tequila. The mix is then filtered through a bed of charcoal to remove its color. The 80-proof clear liquid is put in an individually numbered crystal bottle decorated by hand with representations of pepitas (pumpkin seeds) and an agave plant, then sealed. The end result is extraordinarily smooth, with a very sweet, fruity, almost wine-like nose but a bold, pure peppery flavor that finishes cleanly.

Glenmoragnie Signet is made with chocolate malt mixed in with barley to create the mash. Notes of sherry, maple, marmalade, and tobacco are all present. Very complex and smooth.

Armand de Brignac is a Prestige Cuvee produced in the traditional, old-world style, from grape to glass. Armand de Brignac Brut Gold (Ace of Spades) is their flagship cuvee, a singular example of French Champagne tradition. Marvelously complex and full-bodied, its bouquet is both fresh and lively, with light floral notes. On the palate, Armand de Brignac has a sumptuous, racy fruit character that is perfectly integrated with the wine’s subtle brioche accents.
