I.W. Harper is a brand that has existed since the 1870s, founded by Isaac Wolf and Bernard Bernheim. The name of their distillery is Bernheim, but the name "Harper" actually comes from the owner of a Kentucky Derby horse the brothers took a liking to. -

This, a blend of more than 25 cognacs, the youngest of which has aged over 4 years in our cellars, is considered to be the "classic" Hine.The most delicate of Hine's cognacs: fruity aromas on the nose, such as jasmine and acacia flower.
