The well-integrated oak provides structure and depth seldom seen in Pinot Noir. -
Decoy is a part of the elaborate workings of Duckhorn Vineyards. Many great labels are coming out of this winery with different winemakers and styles. This merlot was crafted by Bill Nancarrow and is 98% merlot with the addition of 2% cabernet sauvignon. Cherry, plum and spice are on the nose, and soft tannins and ripe fruit can be enjoyed on the palate. The finish offers some vanilla, earth and licorice. Lush and enjoyable! -

Marqués de Riscal Reserva wines are basically made from grapes from Tempranillo vines planted before 1970's, grown in the best clay-limestone soils of the Rioja Alavesa. This variety withstands oak- and bottle ageing well thanks to its good balance of acidity and fine tannin. The Graciano and Mazuelo varieties, whose presence in the blend does not exceed 10%, provide crispness and a lively colour.Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 26ºC and the maceration time is never more than 12 days. Riscal reservas spend around two years in American Oak barrels, producing a wine which corresponds to the classic Rioja style: fresh, fine, elegant and very suitable for laying down for many years. Before release for sale it spends a minimum of one year rounding off in the bottle; time enough to show how much complexity tempranillo is able to achieve. -

100% OF OUR CABERNET SAUVIGNON WAS AGED FOUR MONTHS IN CHARRED, KENTUCKY BOURBON BARRELS, CREATING A REFINED, FULL-BODIED WINE WITH BOLD FRUIT FLAVORS. DARK CHERRY, BLACKBERRY, AND PLUM ENRICH THE PALATE, PROVIDING EXCELLENT STRUCTURE AND GENEROUS TANNINS. THE BOURBON INFLUENCES ADD NOTES OF VANILLA, CARAMEL, AND SPICE THAT LEAD INTO A LONG, SMOOTH FINISH. -
A dark cherry colour with good depth. Balsamic aromas with hints of ripe fruit, complex and spicy. The attack is fresh and light, with soft, rounded tannins. The finish proves persistent with some reminders of toasted oak. Its passage through the mouth is pleasant and elegant, fresh and easy to drink.
