Rare VSOP is a Fine Champagne cognac, which means a blend of Grande and Petite Champagne cognacs, with at least 50% coming from the Grande Champagne district. This, a blend of more than 25 cognacs, the youngest of which has aged over 4 years in our cellars, is considered to be the "classic" Hine.The most delicate of Hine's cognacs: fruity aromas on the nose, such as jasmine and acacia flower. Delicate, surprising, mellow and delightfully smooth on the palate. -
The nose on this bourbon is really layered and full of flavor. Baked apricots stewed cherry and tasted oak spice lead the way in front of vanilla candies and buttered corn. I.W. Harper is a brand that has existed since the 1870s, founded by Isaac Wolf and Bernard Bernheim. The name of their distillery is Bernheim, but the name "Harper" actually comes from the owner of a Kentucky Derby horse the brothers took a liking to. -

A vatted malt (or should we say blended malt) from Johnnie Walker, Jim Murray awarded this 15 year old a whopping 95 points in his 2010 Whisky Bible!. The nose is quite rich and full. There are notes of mocchaccino and espresso coffee, wood smoke and a fireplace, a touch of bitter chocolate and oak. The palate is of medium-body with notes of crisp cereals, coffee beans and chocolate, a date note with a touch of walnut. The finish is quite long and spicy with honeyed sweetness and oak. -

There are notes of heather roots, cut herbs, a touch of fresh fruits and honey. The palate is quite full and rich.
