Lohr Hilltop Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has elegant aromas of black cherries, blackberries and black currants, with a bouquet of mint and toasty oak. The 2004 Hilltop Cabernet is a plump, mouthful of wine with a suppleness and ample texture and balance, reminiscent of Bordeaux’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines with the structure to age for 10 to 15 years. -

I.W. Harper is a brand that has existed since the 1870s, founded by Isaac Wolf and Bernard Bernheim. The name of their distillery is Bernheim, but the name "Harper" actually comes from the owner of a Kentucky Derby horse the brothers took a liking to. -
The nose on this bourbon is really layered and full of flavor. Baked apricots stewed cherry and tasted oak spice lead the way in front of vanilla candies and buttered corn. Rare VSOP is a Fine Champagne cognac, which means a blend of Grande and Petite Champagne cognacs, with at least 50% coming from the Grande Champagne district. This, a blend of more than 25 cognacs, the youngest of which has aged over 4 years in our cellars, is considered to be the "classic" Hine.The most delicate of Hine's cognacs: fruity aromas on the nose, such as jasmine and acacia flower. Delicate, surprising, mellow and delightfully smooth on the palate. -
A VSOP from Hine. H is a blend of around over a dozen Grande and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie with the youngest in the blend being aged for at least 4 years. -

It is created from 100 eaux-de-vie with some being aged for 30 years hence why it is an ‘extra old’ cognac. -

There are notes of chewy resinous wood with a well-balanced acidity. Fudge and Madeira with apple crumble with calvados. The palate is full and rich with winter spice; cinnamon and cloves, thick oak with developing aridity. The finish is long and dry with a peppery note.
