Decoy is a part of the elaborate workings of Duckhorn Vineyards. Many great labels are coming out of this winery with different winemakers and styles. This merlot was crafted by Bill Nancarrow and is 98% merlot with the addition of 2% cabernet sauvignon. Cherry, plum and spice are on the nose, and soft tannins and ripe fruit can be enjoyed on the palate. The finish offers some vanilla, earth and licorice. Lush and enjoyable! -

It has a deep crimson color and is a lively wine with a soft mineral finish and round tannins that linger in long, peppery finish. This wine pairs perfectly with all starters, pastas and meat dishes and is best when served slightly below room temperature (64°F). -
