The very first blended malt Scotch whisky from Chivas Regal - Ultis! In honour of the five generations of Master Blenders who have been behind Chivas Regal over the years, this expression features single malts from five different Speyside distilleries, namely Allt-á-Bhainne, Braeval, Longmorn, Strathisla and Tormore. Richly honey'd, with a kick of fiery cinnamon underneath. Tinned peaches and crumbly fudge.
Chivas Regal 18yo is the newest in the Regal range. The colour is intense deep amber, with rich indulgent multi layered aromas with hints of dark chocolate and dried fruit. On the palate a velvety dark chocolate yields floral notes and mellow smokiness.
Chivas Regal 12 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky is crafted from a rich blend of malt and grain whiskies, each matured for at least 12 years. Its radiant amber color is complemented by aromas of wild herbs, heather, honey and orchard fruits. The palated is filled with bursts of apples, hazelnut and butterscotch, and leads to a warm, lingering finish.
Has aromas and flavors which can only be achieved through “hang time” – a technique which chances the loss of crop if early winter sets in. Leaving the fruit to “hang” on the vine unusually long develops suppleness, increases color, and matures the tannins of the grapes. The wines are abundant in textural tannins yet soft as velvet. Crop thinning, allowing measured sunlight to reach the vine’s fruit zone, and waiting for increased ripeness are all part of our viticultural practices.
Note: This is an allocated & rare product and the vintage varies by availability.
