Winemaker Notes - Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio is the benchmark by which all other Pinot Grigios are judged. Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio was named the leading Italian wine and continues to be requested by name. Its crisp, elegant character makes it versatile for a wide array of cuisines. Budbreak came later with the 2009 vintage than usual because of rain and snow that extended into late winter. This was followed by excellent weather in the spring that caused the vines to flower early. August turned out to be hotter than average, resulting in picking beginning ahead of schedule. The decision to harvest was made based on capturing the grapes at their ideal acidity and aromatic levels. The 2009 vintage displays its signature sensory profile, along with fragrant aromatics and freshness on the palate. -

A Classic California 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Silver Oak, the 2006 is a beautiful fruit-forward, full-bodied wine that captures the distinct characteristics of Alexander Valley.: Winemaker Notes - The 2006 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon combines full body and richness with moderate alcohol. Dark ruby/purple color, a wonderfully sweet nose of espresso roast, fudge, blackberry, and cassis with a nutmeg and dark chocolate. On the palate, it has a rich, mouth-coating attack, great expression of fruit, a full-body and beautifully integrated tannins that lead to a long, spicy finish. Given proper cellaring, this wine will give drinking pleasure through 2026. -
The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a complex and refined wine that develops beautifully in the glass to reveal multi-layered nuances of aromas. It has a dark ruby color and an enticing nose of cassis, black truffles and violets. On the palate, the wine has an elegant attack and bursts with flavors of fresh forest fruit, potpourri and Asian spices. It has a long finish with smooth well-integrated tannins. -
On one side, you have good ol’ whiskey - a bold, loud, and strong partner-in-crime who exudes confidence. On the other, we have peanut butter - a rich, smooth, and irresistible spread that’s as dependable as they come for all your late night cravings. This Artemis Cabernet Sauvignon offers inviting aromas of blackcherry and plum with hints of vanilla. On the palate, the wine has asoft entry with ripe mixed berry and plum flavors. The wine has a medium-bodied mouthfeel with round, satin-like tannins. -
Cabernet has always been a mainstay in the winemaking program at Stags’ Leap Winery. Our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a combination of estate fruit and grapes from select Napa Valley growers. Much of the estate vineyard is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon where deep, well-drained, loamy volcanic soils make this a perfect place to grow Cabernet. The fruit for this wine was hand-picked in small bins and each lot was fermented separately in a combination of open and closed top fermenters to maximize concentration and extraction in the finished wine. The wine was aged in 100 percent French oak barrels (50 percent new) for 24 months, and the final blend was assembled one year into the aging process to give the wine a chance to marry before bottling. -

Deeply colored, the Napa Valley Petite Sirah is a classic example of the full-bodied, rich varietal. Generous in flavor, with blackberry, black cherry, mulberry and subtle hints of rose tea, vanilla, graphite, clove spice and sweet tobacco, this wine exhibits the full spectrum of Petite Sirah’s signature characteristics. The beautiful flavors remain fresh throughout, the tannins are dense, but unbelievably soft, and the finish is luxuriously long. -
Stoli Citros is delicately aromatic, with clear scents of sweet lemon at the start, building to a more intense blast of lime. Citros has a very natural and complex citrus smell, with no heavy overtones. The palate is subtle, zesty lemon with floral touches on the finish. -
Stoli Ohranj has a light and floral aroma of orange zest and essential oils, the more toppy scents of orange blossom balanced by richer elements of orange liqueur and marmalade. Stoli Ohranj has orange cream on its palate, hints of dark chocolate and more varied flavors of tangerine, mandarin and kumquat, and a lingering fresh zesty note of Lemon. -
Stoli Razberi opens with an intense nose of raspberry jam, boiled sweets and hot berry fruit infusions. The palate has raspberry ripple creaminess, balanced by the sweet spice of rye and wheat grain vodka, and lifted by crisp citrus notes. Stoli Razberi is finished with hints of pepper and wild raspberry cane. -

The deliciously delicate Taittinger NV Brut La Francaise is strikingly buoyant and dominated by subtle scents of yeast-tinged flowers and foliage - honeysuckle and mint immediately come to mind - that allude to its roughly one-quarter Meunier component, with a luscious matrix of lime-drenched honeydew melon and apple well-supported by discreet residual sugar leading to a sustained and refreshing finish. Hints of toasted almond and vanilla-tinged cookie dough lend a faintly confectionary cast that manages to harmonize with the dominant fruitiness and florality, while piquancy of apple and lime pit serve for counterpoint. That Taittinger s standard-bearing cuvees (outside the U.S., the cuvee in question is called Brut Reserve ) are relatively short on Pinot Noir by standards of that genre is obvious on tasting. In the 1920s the Marchese Mario Incisa della Rocchetta dreamt of creating a ‘thoroughbred’ wine and for him, as for all the aristocracy of the time, the ideal was Bordeaux. A wine made mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon was a fundamental change to the Tuscan and Piedmont tradition of Sangiovese and Nebbiolo, respectively. The innovative decision to plant this variety at Tenuta San Guido was partly due to the similarity Mario Incisa had noted between Tuscan terrain and that of Graves in Bordeaux. -
