This whiskey is comprised of 95 percent rye and 5 percent malted barley. The lack of corn means that it cannot be considered a bourbon. Aged for 18 months in used Caribbean rum casks that were first used for cognac, the whiskey is matured for six to seven years in total. It weighs in at a flavorful 100 proof. -
The Balvenie 16 Year Old French Oak is a vibrant Single Malt Scotch Whisky finished in casks that previously held wine from the French Charentes vineyards. Maturation in American oak casks brings an abundance of vanilla spice and warm honey notes. After 16 years it is finished in Pineau casks to bring energizing grapefruit, geranium, glazed fruit and ginger. -

Due to its especially high rye content, Bulleit Bourbon has a bold, spicy character with a finish that's distinctively clean and smooth. Medium amber in color, with gentle spiciness and sweet oak aromas. Mid-palate is smooth with tones of maple, oak, and nutmeg. Finish is long, dry, and satiny with a light toffee flavor. -
