A Cristalino is a barrel-aged tequila (Reposado, Añejo or Extra Añejo) which has been carefully filtered for smoothness. As a result, the tequila loses its color but remains incredibly complex. It is inspired by the desire to create a more accessible expression of an aged tequila. Cristalinos offer the character and taste layers of aged tequilas, with the crystal-clear look and mixability of a Blanco.
